About HappyChef
Founder Thibault Van de Sompele builds HappyChef in Essen: a reservation system that lets guests book online themselves, even outside opening hours. A restaurant starts for free or buys the system once for €1,500, with 90 days money back and no subscription.
The HappyChef site exists in 24 languages, with almost 80 free tools for restaurants, a blog per language and a page per feature. So there is a lot to work with, and a lot to improve.
What You Will Do
- Find out what restaurant owners search for, per country and per language, and turn that into pages that really answer their question.
- Look after the technical side: speed, internal links, hreflang across the 24 languages and structured data.
- Track rankings and traffic, and choose with Thibault every week where the biggest gain is.
- Help shape new tools and articles so they are easy to find from day one.
Who You Are
- You have SEO experience and can show pages you helped grow.
- You speak fluent Dutch and English; French or another European language is a plus.
- You like reading HTML source and a site with thousands of pages does not scare you.
- You measure first, then decide, and you explain your choices clearly.
