Daily Cash-Up Sheet for Restaurants

Same ritual every night: count the drawer, put the takings next to it and hope it adds up. This tool counts along with you, tells you straight away whether the till is right, and remembers every day — so after two weeks you can see which day carries your restaurant and which one costs you money.

How it works

  1. 1

    Count the drawer

Enter how many notes and coins you have of each denomination. The tool adds up while you count — no calculator, no counting twice.

  2. 2

    Enter the day

Cash, card, guests. You immediately see your over/short, your revenue and your average spend per guest. Print the day sheet for your accountant's folder.

  3. 3

    Save the day

Every saved day joins your own overview. After a few weeks you can see your revenue by weekday, your average spend and whether the till is consistently right.

Frequently asked questions

Is this cash-up sheet free?

Yes, completely free, with no account and nothing to install. Fill in your day and print or export straight from your browser.

How is my over/short calculated?

Expected in the drawer = float + cash takings − what you paid out in cash − tips paid out in cash. The difference is what you counted minus what you expected. A plus means too much in the drawer, a minus means too little.

What do I put in as the float?

The starting cash you put in the drawer in the morning and leave in it after the close. That amount is not part of your revenue and does not go to the safe.

Does this work outside the eurozone?

Yes. Pick your currency at the top: euro, zloty, koruna, forint, leu, lev or the Danish and Swedish krona. You get that country's real notes and coins.

Are my figures stored anywhere?

Everything stays in your own browser (localStorage) and is never uploaded. Your days will still be there tomorrow, on this device. Export a CSV now and then as a backup.
