What is RevPASH and why does it matter?
RevPASH stands for Revenue Per Available Seat Hour: your revenue divided by the number of seats multiplied by the hours you are open. It is the fairest yardstick in hospitality, because it folds your average spend and your occupancy into a single number. A restaurant with expensive dishes and empty tables and one with cheaper dishes and full tables finally become comparable.
How do I calculate my occupancy rate?
Your occupancy rate is the number of guests you actually serve divided by the number you could theoretically have served (seats × turns per service). This simulator does that for you and shows exactly where the gap sits: half-empty tables, unsold capacity or no-shows.
How many turns per table can I count on?
It follows from your own numbers: the length of your service divided by the table time plus the minutes you need to clear and reset. A four-hour dinner service with tables occupied for 105 minutes and 15 minutes of turnaround gives exactly two turns. More turns means either opening longer or shortening the table time or the turnaround.
What is a normal no-show rate for a restaurant?
Restaurants typically report somewhere between 5% and 20%, depending on your concept, your city and how people book. Confirmations and reminders by WhatsApp or email, a clear cancellation window and — for busy services — a deposit bring that figure down considerably. Enter your own percentage and use the what-if lever to see what an improvement is worth.
Is this a guarantee of revenue?
No. The simulator is a model built on your own assumptions, meant for comparing scenarios rather than replacing your bookkeeping. Real revenue also depends on season, weather, staffing and plain luck.
