Equipment Maintenance Planner

One register: what equipment do you have, and when was it last checked? The tool works out what is due this month or already overdue, tracks breakdowns, and names — with the euro amount attached — which appliance fails too often. Print a sheet for the back door.

How it works

  1. 1

    Register your equipment

Type, name and who you call when it breaks. Every type gets a common maintenance interval — adjust it to what your appliance's own manual says.

  2. 2

Fill in when it was last checked

The tool works out when the next service is due, and lists at the top — by name and by days — what is due this month or already overdue.

  3. 3

    Log every breakdown

Date, what broke, how long you were down and what it cost. An appliance that fails twice within a year gets flagged by name and by amount.

Frequently asked questions

Is this tool free?

Yes, completely free and with no account. Everything stays saved in your own browser.

Are the maintenance intervals a legal requirement?

No. They are common starting points per equipment type, not legislation. The real requirement is set by your appliance's manual, your insurance policy and local fire and hygiene rules — adjust every interval to match.

What happens to an appliance I no longer have?

Delete the row. Nothing else disappears silently and the rest of your register stays exactly as it was.

Can I print this for the back door?

Yes, two sheets: a maintenance board sorted by what is due first, and a breakdown log for an insurance or warranty conversation.

Does my data stay private?

Yes. Everything sits locally in your browser (localStorage) — nothing is sent to a server.

This is a house document, not a legal text. Maintenance intervals, inspection duties and insurance terms differ per country, per insurer and per appliance — your equipment's own manual and your own contracts set the real numbers, this sheet only remembers them. Change any interval as you see fit.
