Supplier & Contract Renewal Tracker

A contract that renews automatically does exactly that without asking you — the cancellation window usually closes 60 to 90 days before the renewal date, and by then it's too late. Type what you have, when it renews and how far ahead you need to cancel; the tool works out the cancellation deadline and tells you exactly which contract needs a decision now.

How it works

  1. 1

Put every contract in the table

Supplier name, what kind of contract (linen, waste, alarm, software, …), the date it renews and how many days ahead you must cancel. A category fills in a typical notice period straight away — adjust it to match what your own contract actually says.

  2. 2

    The cancellation deadline is calculated

The tool subtracts the notice period from the renewal date and tells you how many days you have left. Within thirty days? The contract turns orange and needs a decision — now, not in October.

  3. 3

    See what's already locked in

If the cancellation deadline has already passed, the contract renews automatically — the tool says so, along with the amount you're now committed to for another year.

  4. 4

    Print the overview

One sheet with every contract, its cancellation deadline and the total yearly cost — handy for the accountant, or to keep in the folder with the contracts themselves.

Frequently asked questions

Is this free?

Yes, completely free, no account needed. Everything stays in your own browser.

Where do I find my contract's actual notice period?

In the terms and conditions you got when you signed, usually under 'duration' or 'termination'. This tool works with whatever you type in — the category gives a typical period as a starting point, but your own contract always wins.

What does 'already renewed' mean?

That the cancellation deadline has already passed: you can no longer cancel this contract before it renews. The amount shown next to it is what you'll now pay for at least another year.

My contract doesn't renew automatically — what do I fill in?

Turn off the 'renews automatically' toggle. The tool then tracks no cancellation deadline for that line — there's simply no deadline to miss.

I don't remember the exact renewal date — what now?

Enter your best guess and correct it once you find the contract. A date that's a few days off is always better than a contract that isn't on the sheet at all.

This is a house document, not a contract and not legal advice — notice periods, automatic renewal and what happens on a late cancellation differ per country and per agreement; the real term is in your own contract, this sheet just helps you not forget it.
