About HappyChef
Founder Thibault Van de Sompele builds HappyChef in Essen: a reservation system that lets guests book online themselves, even outside opening hours. A restaurant starts for free or buys the system once for €1,500, with 90 days money back and no subscription.
Many restaurant owners have never heard of HappyChef. They take bookings with a book and a phone, or they pay every month for a system. Your call is often the first time they hear it can be done differently.
What You Will Do
- Call restaurants, brasseries and bistros, mostly outside the busy service hours.
- Ask how they manage reservations today and listen first, before you suggest anything.
- Book a demo when there is real interest, and log every conversation properly.
- Go over the recurring questions with Thibault every week and sharpen your pitch.
Who You Are
- You like picking up the phone, and a no does not drain your energy.
- You speak fluent Dutch; French or English is a plus for restaurants in Brussels and Wallonia.
- You know hospitality or want to learn it: a Saturday evening is not a time to call.
- You work in a structured way and keep up your follow-ups without anyone asking.
