What Was Announced
- American Express agreed to buy Tock from Squarespace for $400 million in cash, to add about 7,000 restaurants, wineries and other venues to its dining platform.
- The deal closed on 15 October 2024; Tock became an independent division of American Express Global Dining, reporting to Resy's CEO.
- Squarespace and American Express also agreed to offer benefits to small businesses that accept Amex cards.
