Slate Solstice

The cover is typographic: the name in a large serif italic low on the page, the line about the winter larder under a hairline. The first inside panel lists the nine courses with roman numerals, from oyster and green apple to chocolate and malt. The next gives the menu price, the wine pairing, three supplements such as caviar and truffle, and two whites by the glass; the back closes with mulled wine, punch and digestifs.
